The National Forest feature video

Forest Way School were invited by The National Forest to be a part of a special feature, celebrating the impact of the funding and support we have received over the last few years from their 'Creating a Forest 4 Learning' project. We are very proud to have been chosen to showcase the amazing impact and engagement of our learners as well as our commitment to holistic learning. 

Formal Consultation - Proposal for new premises for Forest Way Sixth Form

In order to carry out this proposal we need to make an application known as a significant change for approval from the Department for Education via the Regional Director. We will be seeking an additional address for Forest Way School sixth form.

A formal consultation period in respect of this proposal is being held for a period of 21 days commencing on 1 December 2025 until 3pm on 21 December 2025 and as part of this process. If you would like to respond to the consultation please click the link below.

Primary and Secondary Winter Wellbeing booklets

Please see below the links to our Primary and Secondary wellbeing booklets. These have been provided by our NHS Clinician Supervisor and Mental Health Practitioner. These booklets give you a little reminder about the 5 ways to wellbeing and how we can use them to support our mental health over the winter holidays.

Woodland Trusts Green Tree School - Platinum Award (2024)

It is our pleasure to share with you that we have finally earned our PLATINUM AWARD for the Woodland Trusts Green Tree School programme!

To put this in perspective, Forest Way School staff and students first began this award scheme in 2007, 17 years ago!

It is a real credit to the learners and the staff (past and present!) who are so committed to getting outdoors in all weathers to provide such outstanding outdoor learning and nature connection experiences! A huge well done!

A special shout out to the dedicated Forest Schools practitioners who always give so much enthusiasm and passion to their role for the benefit of our learners We are very lucky to have such a strong Forest Schools team delivering Forest Schools across all departments. Thank you for all of your hard work.
